Evalueserve, Inc. is hiring an experienced SQL professional in Viña del Mar, Chile, to enhance and maintain SQL Server environments and SSIS packages.

You will support market risk applications, manage data pipelines, and respond to incidents while collaborating with a remote global team. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in SQL/production support within financial services, with strong English communication and data warehousing knowledge.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SQL Development, Application Support or Production Support environments, preferably within financial services.
• Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of relational/dimensional databases and data warehouses.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and development of store procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft SSIS Packages.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT and DWH concepts.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Tidal.
• Experience documenting operational design flows and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and Check Processes performance on SQL Server (Execution Plan, Indexes)
• Develop and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.
• Provide support for market risk applications, including monitoring, incident resolution, and problem management.
• Manage data pipelines and scheduled jobs.
• Handle business-critical incidents, including stakeholder communication and post-incident reviews.
• Document operational procedures, workflows, and technical solutions.

• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote global team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SQL Development, Application Support or Production Support environments, preferably within financial services.
• Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of relational/dimensional databases and data warehouses.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and development of store procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft SSIS Packages.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT and DWH concepts.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Tidal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to tools like GIT, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.
