Job summary

Redtree Engineering, part of CSI's global network, is seeking a Semi Senior Electrical Engineer in Santiago, Chile. You will contribute to design, development and execution of power systems projects, owning deliverables and collaborating with senior engineers.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, perform electrical studies and provide constructible solutions while growing into more responsibilities. Flexible, hybrid work is offered on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering projects.
• Upper-intermediate to advanced English (written and spoken).
• Hands‑on experience in electrical power systems design.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical engineering designs and technical deliverables under senior engineers' supervision.
• Prepare one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, equipment layouts and design documentation.
• Support the design and specification of medium- and high-voltage systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, grounding, and protection and control systems.
• Perform electrical studies such as load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, protection coordination and grounding, with review from senior engineers.
• Work with vendors and internal teams on technical information and equipment data.
• Take part in client meetings and technical reviews as needed.
• Support multidisciplinary teams in developing integrated, constructible solutions.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, codes and client specifications.
• Support junior engineers and interns when needed.
