Job summary

Firstpoint Group is seeking an accomplished RF Engineer - 5G Huawei for a permanent, fully remote role in Chile. You will optimize Huawei LTE/5G NR networks, analyze KPI trends, and resolve coverage and mobility issues. The position requires Huawei experience and a strong RF background.

Work will span RAN performance, RCA, and detailed reporting. This is a remote, Chile-based engagement with competitive compensation and strong growth potential within a premier telecom recruitment and consulting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
4+ years of RF optimization and RAN performance experience.
Hands-on Huawei wireless network experience required.
Strong LTE/NR knowledge and interworking understanding.
Proficient with Huawei U2020 or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

Perform RF optimization and performance tuning for Huawei LTE and 5G NR networks.
Analyze RAN KPIs, counters and traffic to identify improvements.
Troubleshoot coverage, capacity bottlenecks and mobility issues.
Improve accessibility, retainability, handover success, throughput, and availability.
Support NSA/SA 5G performance analysis and LTE/NR interworking.
Conduct RCA and implement network performance action plans.
Monitor health with Huawei management tools and configure parameters.
Prepare technical reports and optimization summaries for leadership.
