Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks a Freelance Full-Stack Developer well-versed in Django and Python to advance an AI-powered product. You’ll integrate large language models and APIs, build frontend interfaces with HTMX/Alpine.js/Tailwind, and contribute to a growing platform from a remote, flexible setup.

You’ll have ownership over features, collaborate with a small, senior team, and shape product direction while maintaining engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience, with Django preferred.
• Strong Python programming skills and production-ready delivery experience.
• Experience building AI-powered apps using OpenAI/OpenRouter/Anthropic APIs or similar.
• Familiarity with Docker and Git in collaborative environments.
• Ability to balance engineering fundamentals with AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience with AI tools like Cursor, Codex, Claude Code and explaining usage to teammates.
• Strong written and spoken English; English is the primary working language.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and extend full-stack features using Django and Python.
• Develop lightweight frontend interfaces with HTMX, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS.
• Integrate third-party APIs and AI services including LLM providers.
• Connect marketing data sources and incorporate data into product features.
• Write clean, reliable Python code and contribute to a scalable codebase.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while upholding standards.
• Work independently, communicating progress and collaborating with a remote team.
• Contribute technical insights and help shape product development.
