Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Data Engineer (AWS) to design and maintain scalable data pipelines in a fully remote, globally distributed team. You will connect raw data sources with analytical environments, ensuring secure, efficient data flow across the enterprise.

You should have 4+ years in data or cloud engineering, hands-on with AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Strong SQL and Python, plus excellent English, are essential.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
Proven expertise with AWS-native data services (Glue, Kinesis).
Experience designing data warehouses on Redshift.
Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Strong SQL and Python for data transformation.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Python.
Develop data warehouse architectures on Redshift and data lakes on S3.
Automate data workflows and infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools.
Implement data models and partitioning for performance and cost efficiency.
Ensure data quality with automated validation and monitoring.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.
