We are actively considering candidates within the LATAM region, additionally Spain and Portugal. Candidates must be willing to travel 50% of the time.

Overview

Purpose of Role: Takes care of the sale of complex capital goods for high pressure slurry and paste pumping systems to the mining and mineral processing industries. Focus on the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to close. Guides customers in the mining and minerals processing industry to make the right critical business decisions for their future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Strategy & Development
    Analyzes the mining and mineral processing market to identify opportunities for GEHO pumping systems. Develops and executes regional strategies to expand market presence and introduce new applications.

  • Sales Channel Management
    Builds and manages effective sales channels by appointing agents, regional colleagues, and project-specific partners. Ensures alignment with country-specific and sector-specific needs.

  • Sales Execution & Forecasting
    Leads complex, long-term sales processes involving multiple stakeholders. Provides accurate sales forecasts to support production, operations, and financial planning.

  • Aftermarket & Customer Support
    Supports aftermarket sales by collaborating with service teams to drive spare parts and service revenue. Maintains strong relationships with customers, consultants, and engineering firms to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Communication & Opportunity Reporting
    Acts as the key liaison between the market and internal teams, ensuring customer needs are translated into actionable quotes and orders. Keeps the Global Product Manager informed of new opportunities and market trends.

Qualifications

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.

  • Ideal candidate will have expertise in long term, relationship-based sales.

  • Have the ability to manage long life cycle, end to end sales while managing multiple projects at different stages.

  • Expertise in the GEHO pump and mining market.

  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English and Spanish.

  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
