Job summary

Fluor Constructors is seeking a Quality Auditor to support project QA activities on complex construction programs. You will assist in audit schedule preparation, document review, and tracking corrective actions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

This role requires a four-year degree and relevant experience; Internal Auditor certification is preferred. The company offers equal opportunity employment and conducts background checks as part of offer processes.

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with related experience (7 years if non-degreed).
• Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
• Experience in quality/project management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project audit schedules and discipline activity plans for QA.
• Assist in developing orientation programs for project teams on the Quality Plan.
• Act as a QA auditor and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
• Assess supplier ability to meet project Quality requirements.
• Maintain project Quality records across all phases.
• Execute QA work in line with approved Activity Plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Assist in the preparation of project audit schedules, discipline activity plans for the Quality function, and audit reports (internal and external), noting non-conformances and verifying effective corrective action
• Assist (if directed by senior Quality management) the Project Manager in developing an orientation program to ensure that the project teams are familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan; including other Quality matters, if required
• Act as a Quality auditor and may follow up on audit findings and corrective actions
• Assess (if directed by senior Quality management) the ability of the suppliers to meet the Quality requirements of the project
• Assist in the maintenance of project Quality records for all phases of the project
• Execute project Quality work in accordance with approved Activity Plans
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and three (3) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to seven (7) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in technical field preferred
• Internal Auditor certification required
• Three (3) years of related Quality/project experience
• Moderate interpersonal and communication skills
• Moderate leadership and decision-making skills
