UPS, a global leader in logistics and a Fortune Global 500 company, seeks a permanent Quality Inspector in Chile. You will inspect parts and assemblies to ensure dimensional and positional accuracy, report quality issues, and contribute to corrective actions and performance improvements.

This role supports GMP and ISO requirements and involves documenting inspection results and quality metrics. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma (or equivalent), demonstrates strong math skills

Formación

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Demonstrated strong math skills without a calculator.
• Minimum of two years' experience with inspecting mechanical parts and assemblies.

Responsabilidades

• Inspects and reports on manufacturing quality.
• Inspects incoming materials, packaging and labeling components, work-in-process and final products using basic inspection gauging.
• Initiates rejection reports for non-conforming materials.
• Ensures proper completion of required documentation in accordance with GMP and ISO requirements.
• Performs activities in Quality Control department such as incoming, CQA and final product inspections.
• Drives process changes, reports on quality metrics and ensures proactive measures are taken to achieve quality goals.
• Documents quality issues and performance measures for management review.
• Documents corrective actions and tracks subsequent follow-up activities.
• Prepares and presents quality status and performance improvements.
• Initiates rejection reports for non-conforming materials.
• Identifies and champions resolution of quality issues.
