BairesDev is seeking a Python Backend Developer to design and maintain a clinical health-data pipeline backend using async Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB. You will work on security-rich, interoperable systems that ensure data integrity and reliable patient-facing outcomes.

You will build async services, manage a MongoDB persistence layer with Beanie ODM, and implement OAuth/OIDC/JWT authentication across Keycloak and Descope, all while operating in a fully remote, flexible environment with

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.12 and async FastAPI development.
• Experience with MongoDB, ideally Beanie ODM for async persistence.
• Solid understanding of OAuth/OIDC and JWT-based authentication.
• Comfort working with Docker and docker-compose, including debugging containerized environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
