Job summary

TELUS Digital is looking for an Online Data Analyst to verify geographic and business information across maps and search results. You will work remotely from Chile, leveraging English and Spanish, and follow detailed guidelines to ensure data accuracy and high-quality evaluations for AI systems.

As an independent contractor, you can participate regularly, with flexible weekly hours, a structured onboarding, and access to training materials and examples.

Qualifications

• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Have lived in Chile for the last 5 consecutive years.
• In-depth regional, cultural, and geographic knowledge of Chile.
• Willingness to work across diverse Task Types (Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to understand and apply project guidelines.
• Willingness to participate regularly each week when work is available.
• Stable internet connection and access to a personal computer.

As an Online Data Analyst, you will use your knowledge of Chile, together with online research and project guidelines, to review and evaluate map, location, business, and search information. This is a remote, flexible independent contractor opportunity designed for people who can participate regularly each week when tasks are available.

A Day in the Life of an Online Data Analyst

In this role, you will verify, evaluate, and validate geographic and business information using advanced mapping tools and detailed reference materials.

You may work on a variety of tasks, including:

• Review and verify map, business, address, and location information
• Research information using online maps, search engines, directories, and reliable sources
• Compare information from different sources and determine which result is most accurate
• Evaluate Spanish and English language search results and information
• Follow detailed project guidelines when making decisions
• Work across different task types such as Maps, Search/Relevance, Audio, etc.

Training materials, guidelines, and examples are provided.

Service Rates

This is a task-based opportunity rather than an hourly-paid position.

Each task has an assigned rate based on its estimated completion time. Based on current task rates and estimated completion times, earnings are approximately equivalent to:

7.80 USD per hour **This hourly equivalent is provided as an estimate only.

• The volume of available tasks
• The number of tasks you choose to complete
• Quality and productivity requirements
• Your individual pace of work
• Your level of regular participation

Independent Contractor Relationship

This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis.

Contributors have flexibility in deciding when they participate and how much available work they choose to complete, subject to project availability, qualification requirements, and project quality standards.

While there is no fixed work schedule, the project is intended for contributors who can participate regularly and consistently when tasks are available.
