Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to oversee the full cycle of mechanical orders, ensure delivery dates, and balance internal workloads with outsourcing when needed. The role reports to the QRC General Manager and leads a team across manufacturing, supply chain, and operations, including ERP and CAPA initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in leadership roles in industrial operations.
• 5+ years P&L responsibility including cost systems, manufacturing, supply chain, QA, sales, and product development.
• Experience with foreign markets, remote operations, and export controls.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new suppliers in the region (packaging).
• Coordinate manufacturing, quality, and supply chain logistics.
• Transform the FLSAR plant to optimize OE production and resources.
• Lead CAPEX implementations and HR operations changes.
• Participate in ERP implementation and enhance KABA utilization.
• Coordinate CAPEX and implementation plans for aftermarket expansion.

Job Summary:

This position requires a strong understanding of the full cycle of new and repaired mechanical orders including the DCI process, quoting and concluding with delivery and acceptance. The Manufacturing Manager ensures that dates are in control and determines if we need to outsource processes and/or work overtime to meet delivery dates. The Manufacturing Manager manages the availability of manufactured parts, purchased parts, and outside operations to align with Flowserve’s shop labor. This position reports to the QRC General Manager and has direct reports.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Supplies:

• Led the process of identify and develop new suppliers in region (packaging activities)
• Create required logistics to coordinate manufacturing + quality + supply chain

Manufacturing:

• Led the transformation on FLSAR plant to design, develop and maximize the resources to accommodate production for OE equipment
• Lead the implementation of CAPEX
• Lead the HR operations change (new recruitment, training, defining processes)

Systems:

• Participate on the ERP implementation with all required actions in the operations area
• Full implementation of KABA, plus improvement of utilization.

Expansion of aftermarket activities:

• Coordinate the CAPEX, and implementations plan (required people, training, manpower, equipment, logistics)
• Coordinate the full implementation for processes (DCIQ, KABA, safety…)

And any other duties assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master’s Degree in Business Administration is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in leadership roles industrial operations
• Must have at least 5 years of full P&L responsibility which includes standard cost systems, manufacturing operation, supply chain/ purchasing, quality assurance, inside sales and product development.
• Experience with foreign markets, managing operations in remote locations, and export controls necessary.
• Familiarity with financial and operational reporting, metrics, and performance management systems required.
• Strong leadership skills are necessary, especially the ability to influence across an organization and build high performing teams
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes are a must for the position.
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 8-10 years relevant experience
