Tether is seeking a highly organized Junior Project Manager to join the Keet engine team and help coordinate cross‑functional work across peers, app/UI developers, and QA. This fully remote, async‑first role emphasizes clear communication and rapid learning of technical concepts.

Ideal candidates have strong English writing, comfort with engineering teams, and experience with GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, or Linear.

Qualifications

• Excellent written English communication; you can explain technical progress clearly and concisely
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working with engineers and learning technical concepts quickly
• Experience with issue trackers and project tools (e.g. GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, Linear)
• Self-starter who thrives in a fully remote, async-first team

Responsibilities

• Track engine work across sprints and releases, keeping issues, milestones, and roadmaps current
• Run or support stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across time zones (mostly async)
• Coordinate between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA so dependencies are visible early
• Write clear status updates, release notes, and meeting summaries
• Help triage bug reports and user feedback, and route them to the right engineers
• Spot risks and blockers early and help the team resolve them

The Keet engine team works on the core that makes Keet tick: connecting peers, replicating data, syncing rooms, and keeping calls and file transfers fast and reliable across every kind of network. We're looking for an organized, curious Junior Project Manager to help keep that work moving.

• Interest in privacy, decentralization, or open‑source software
• Agile/Scrum knowledge or a certification (PSM, CAPM, etc.)
• Experience working across many time zones
