Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Healthcare Compliance Manager based in Chile to lead regional compliance activities across South Latin America. You will partner with business leaders to identify and mitigate risks while ensuring adherence to policies, laws, and industry codes.

The role requires expertise in Healthcare Compliance, risk assessment, and interaction with HCPs/HCOs, with fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Audit, Risk Management, or Internal Controls.
• Experience in regulated industries such as Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, or Life Sciences is preferred.
• Strong understanding of compliance risk management principles and their application.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build credibility across organizational levels.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with business stakeholders to ensure the HCC program prevents, detects, and addresses violations of laws, regulations, codes, and policies.
• Provide practical, risk-based compliance guidance supporting informed business decisions.
• Act as the primary Healthcare Compliance contact for the Electrophysiology business across South Latin America.
• Review activities involving HCPs, HCOs, sponsorships, grants, consulting, CAPEX, and other initiatives for compliance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks via proactive risk management.
• Oversee Third Party Due Diligence, conflicts of interest, and red flag processes.
• Provide guidance, education, training, and communications on Healthcare Compliance requirements.
• Participate in investigations, monitoring, corrective actions, and remediation as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Privacy, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Procurement, HR, and others to develop compliant solutions.
• Represent HCC in key meetings, projects, and governance forums.
• Support deployment and continuous improvement of HCC policies and programs.
• Promote a culture of integrity, ethical decision-making, accountability, and Speak Up.

Job Description

We are searching for the best talent for Healthcare Compliance Manager

Purpose

The HCC Manager, based in Chile, supports Healthcare Compliance and risk management activities across the MedTech businesses in South Latin America (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, and Ecuador).

This role serves as the primary Healthcare Compliance business partner and point of contact for the Electrophysiology (EP) business across South Latin America, while also supporting other MedTech businesses within the cluster. The individual will work closely with commercial and cross-functional leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks while enabling responsible business growth.

The position is responsible for supporting and executing the Healthcare Compliance program in alignment with Johnson & Johnson policies, HCC/HCBI Guidelines, applicable laws and regulations, industry codes, and anti-corruption requirements. The successful candidate will be expected to act as a strategic business partner, helping teams navigate risk and develop practical, compliant business solutions.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Partner with business stakeholders to ensure that the HCC program effectively prevents, detects, and addresses potential violations of laws, regulations, industry codes, and Company policies.
• Serve as a trusted business partner by providing practical and risk-based compliance guidance that supports compliant business decision-making.
• Act as the primary Healthcare Compliance point of contact for the Electrophysiology business across South Latin America.
• Provide compliance consultation and review of business activities, including interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Organizations (HCOs), educational programs, sponsorships, grants, consulting engagements, CAPEX placements, and other commercial initiatives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks through a proactive risk management approach.
• Support and oversee Third Party Intermediary Due Diligence activities, conflict of interest assessments, and red flag management processes.
• Provide and coordinate appropriate guidance, education, training, and communications on Healthcare Compliance requirements.
• Participate in investigations, monitoring activities, corrective action plans, and remediation initiatives, as appropriate.
• Engage in partnerships across functions including Legal, Finance, Privacy, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Procurement, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to develop compliant and practical business solutions.
• Represent HCC in key business meetings, strategic projects, and governance forums.
• Support the deployment, implementation, and continuous improvement of HCC policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives.
• Promote a culture of integrity, ethical decision-making, accountability, and Speak Up throughout the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Audit, Risk Management, Internal Controls, or related functions.
• Experience supporting business teams in highly regulated industries such as Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, or Life Sciences is preferred.
• Strong understanding of compliance risk management principles and the ability to apply them in complex business environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and build credibility across multiple levels of the organization.
• Strong business acumen and ability to balance risk management with business objectives.
• Experience managing investigations, third-party due diligence, conflicts of interest, monitoring activities, or related compliance processes is preferred.
• Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and perform effectively in a regional environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
