Outlier invites you to join a remote QA Coder role designed for top software engineers across Latin America. Review AI-generated code, rate model responses, and write clear CS prompts to push AI to higher quality.
This freelance, 1099 opportunity lets you work from anywhere with flexible hours and competitive pay. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, have software engineering experience on live production codebases, and be fluent in written/spoken English.
Join a structured remote program — where your engineering skills directly improve how AI models generate, debug, and evaluate code. Open to all of Latin America.
Outlier helps the most innovative companies in the world improve their AI models by providing human feedback. Are you an experienced software engineer who would like to lend your programming expertise to train AI models? Join our team to train AI models to excel in code generation!
Projects typically involve discrete and highly variable problems that require interacting with these models while they learn to program. No prior AI experience is required.
Review AI-generated code: Read through code produced by AI models and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
Rate and rank model responses: Score responses across key dimensions — accuracy, instruction following, and presentation — to help improve model output.
Write computer science questions: Develop clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models and push the boundaries of their coding ability.
