BioCatch in Santiago, Chile, seeks an Associate Threat Analyst to strengthen clients’ fraud defenses through expert analytics, rule design, and strategic advisory. You’ll work in a consultancy-style role within a globally distributed Threat Analyst network, collaborating with Data Science and customer teams.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in fraud analysis, threat analysis, or data analytics — preferably at financial institutions.
• Hands-on experience with fraud prevention/detection and transaction monitoring platforms or tools.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese a nice-to-have.

Responsabilidades

• Design, test, implement, and optimize real-time tactical rules to detect and mitigate fraud.
• Analyze emerging patterns with Data Science teams on threats like Account Takeover, fraud attempts, RATs, social engineering, and mule accounts.
• Identify risk patterns, propose controls to reduce losses and false positives using data-driven evidence.
• Provide SME advisory and transfer knowledge to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain relationships with fraud-fighting functions and communicate findings to executive audiences.
• Deliver reporting and insights on fraud detection performance and support sales with thought leadership.
