Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification in English from a well-regarded university.
• Seven years' experience in leading independent, bilingual, or international schools.
• Excellent command of English, CEFR C2 level or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching within the IB framework; familiarity with PYP, MYP, and DP desirable.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment for learning, and English language teaching practices.
• Experience in curriculum coordination, pedagogical leadership, mentoring colleagues, or leading academic initiatives is valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that develop students' language proficiency, critical thinking, analytical skills, and confidence in written and spoken English.
• Apply effective teaching and assessment practices aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and framework.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and progression across year levels, ensuring high standards and consistency in teaching and learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, develop interdisciplinary initiatives, and support continuous improvement.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, independent thinking, and intercultural understanding.

Qualifications and Experience

• A recognised teaching qualification in English from a well-regarded university.
• A strong track record of successful teaching, ideally with at least seven years' experience in leading independent, bilingual, or international schools.
• Excellent command of English, ideally at CEFR C2 level or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. Familiarity with the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment for learning, and effective English language teaching practices.
• Experience in curriculum coordination, pedagogical leadership, mentoring colleagues, or leading academic initiatives will be particularly valued.
• Postgraduate qualifications, relevant international certifications, or IB professional development are considered an advantage.
