Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant (WTP):
Located 800 km northeast of Lima, Peru, Yanacocha is South America’s largest gold mine. The WTP Project consists of two of the largest acid water treatment plants in South America (the West one with capacity of 3,000 m3/hour and the East one with 2,700 m3/hour). Early works are currently being performed on site, preparing the permanent platforms and laydown areas for the East and West plants, in addition to the Class 2 estimate, Level 3 schedule and Execution Plan.
This role provides technical leadership and engineering support during the construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of EPC/EPCM projects. The role serves as the primary electrical engineering interface between the field engineering and the home office engineering team. The position is responsible for validating the technical suitability and constructability of engineering deliverables being implemented in the field, reviewing and approving field engineering solutions, evaluating Field Change Documents (FCDs), and ensuring field modifications maintain compliance with project requirements, design intent, applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
Working with a high degree of autonomy, this role identifies and resolves complex site-related engineering issues, supports construction planning and execution, and provides technical guidance to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant installation of electrical systems.

Planta de Tratamiento de Agua de Yanacocha (WTP)
Ubicada a 800 km al noreste de Lima, Perú, Yanacocha es la mina de oro más grande de Sudamérica. El Proyecto WTP consiste en dos de las plantas de tratamiento de aguas ácidas más grandes de Sudamérica (la del oeste tendrá una capacidad de 3.000 y la del este 2.700 m3/hora). Actualmente se realizan Trabajos Tempranos en el sitio, preparando las plataformas permanentes y áreas de acopio para las plantas Este y Oeste, además de la estimación Clase 2, programa nivel 3 y el Plan de Ejecución.
Este rol proporciona liderazgo técnico y soporte de ingeniería durante las fases de construcción, puesta en marcha y puesta en marcha de proyectos EPC/EPCM. El rol sirve como la interfaz principal de ingeniería eléctrica entre la ingeniería de campo y el equipo de ingeniería de la oficina central. El rol es responsable de validar la idoneidad técnica y la constructibilidad de los entregables de ingeniería que se implementan en el campo, revisar y aprobar soluciones de ingeniería de campo, evaluar los Documentos de Cambio de Campo (FCD) y garantizar que las modificaciones de campo mantengan el cumplimiento de los requisitos del proyecto, la intención del diseño, los códigos aplicables., estándares y especificaciones del cliente.
Trabajando con un alto grado de autonomía, este rol identifica y resuelve problemas complejos de ingeniería relacionados con el sitio, apoya la planificación y ejecución de la construcción y brinda orientación técnica para garantizar una instalación segura, eficiente y conforme de los sistemas eléctricos.
