Job summary

Bluelight seeks an experienced DevOps/SRE professional to design and operate scalable CI/CD pipelines for diverse client projects. You will manage deployments in AWS (ECS/Fargate, Aurora), implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and ensure security, observability, and reliable uptime across multi-AZ environments.

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or DevSecOps roles in professional settings.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Production Aurora/PostgreSQL experience with multi-AZ failover and replicas.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Containerization with Docker and ECS/Fargate; CI/CD pipelines.
• Deployment automation, rollback drills, and observability tooling.
• Security-first mindset with vulnerability scanning and SOC 2 support.
• Incident response, on-call rotation, root-cause analysis.
• Experience with large, complex systems and cross-border teams.
• Able to overlap US business hours; Bachelor's degree required.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3)
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with deployment automation and tested rollback paths, including rollback drills
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar)
• Experience with load testing (k6 or similar) and operating services against latency SLOs and error budgets
• Security-first mindset: experience with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance/hardening practices
• Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar) audit evidence and client security reviews
• Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems

• Experience in compliance-sensitive or audit-heavy domains (e.g., fintech, telecom/TCPA compliance)
