Job summary

Comscore, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to support application teams by managing virtual machines, server configurations, and storage deployments.

The role emphasizes automation using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting in Python/Bash/Go, with ongoing collaboration across infrastructure and data-center teams. You will respond to alerts, streamline routine tasks, and help implement telemetry dashboards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years working experience in infrastructure administration.
• Ability to seek and provide constructive feedback.
• Advanced proficiency in automation languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Ability to appropriately shift priorities on the fly.

Responsibilities

• Creates and manages Virtual Machines.
• Works with Development teams to create and manage server configurations.
• Manages storage volume deployments.
• Responds to help requests from Development teams and resolves system alerts.
• Automates routine tasks such as patching, service restarts and data volume refreshes.
• Defines and implements automated provisioning strategies using Terraform or Ansible.
• Configures alerts and advanced telemetry dashboards using Prometheus and Grafana stacks.

More senior roles act as liaisons between application teams and other operations teams, such as data center operations, infrastructure teams and sgl dba teams.

Additional responsibilities include Developing, Maintaining and act as liaisons between application teams and other operations teams, such as data center operations, infrastructure teams and sgl dba teams.

What You’ll Do

• Promptly responds to help requests from Development teams; responds to and solves system alerts.
• Automates routine tasks, such as patching, service restarts and data volume refreshes.
