Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to join our LatAm-focused remote program. You will review AI-generated code, identify issues, and provide structured feedback to improve model accuracy and reliability.

You will also rate model responses across key dimensions and craft clear computer science prompts to push the models' coding capabilities. This is a freelance, 1099 contract with flexible, location-independent work.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• Experience reviewing code and providing structured feedback.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts in writing and speech in English.
• Experience contributing to production codebases is a plus.

Your Work as a QA Coder

Rate and rank model responses: Score responses across key dimensions — accuracy, instruction following, and presentation — to help improve model output.

Write computer science questions: Develop clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models and push the boundaries of their coding ability.

Ideal Qualifications

Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.

Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase ideally for a technology company.

Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.

Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
