Database Administrator at BairesDev is responsible for the health and performance of production data environments, ensuring data integrity and availability by managing critical database operations.

You will design backup/recovery strategies, optimize system resources, and drive SQL tuning across production databases. This is a 100% remote role with competitive USD compensation and flexible hours, enabling a global impact.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for performance tuning and database optimization.
• Hands-on experience with backups, replication, and HA/DR strategies.
• Experience with production databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Database Administrator at BairesDev

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the health and performance of our production data environments. You will ensure data integrity and availability by managing critical database operations and optimizing system resources.

What You'll Do

• Administer and maintain production databases.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proven expertise in operating and tuning production databases like SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL languages such as T‑SQL or PL/SQL for performance tuning and database optimization.
• Hands‑on experience managing database backups, replication, and implementing high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
