Bluelight is seeking an ETL Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using PySpark within Azure Synapse Analytics. The role focuses on ensuring accurate, timely data for analytics and decision-making across cross-functional teams.

You will work with data scientists and analysts, implement data quality controls, and help optimize data stores and notebooks for performance in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Proven ETL data engineering experience with Python (PySpark).
• Usage of Azure Synapse resources including Notebooks, Pipelines, Linked Services and Key Vault.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and work with SparkSQL/MS SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain ETL data pipelines using PySpark in Azure Synapse.
• Design data warehouses with star schemas for analytics scalability.
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSV files.
• Optimize notebooks/pipelines for performance and SLAs.
• Document data flows and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure data security and governance compliance.
