Interested applicants should download the competition guidelines from the Teatro Municipal de Santiago website and request the audition repertoire and excerpts via email. A complete application must include a CV with a reference contact, optional completion certificate, and proof of participation in professional orchestras over the last three years. Applications that do not meet these criteria will be rejected.The application deadline is January 8, 2027. After document verification, candidates will be notified of their participation status within ten business days. Auditions will take place in person at the Santiago Municipal Theater on January 20 and 22, 2027. Candidates residing outside Chile may submit a preliminary video for consideration for the first round, but must request information by December 1, 2026.Selected candidates will need to arrange their own piano accompanist for the audition. An audiovisual recording will be made during the audition, which will be stored for internal use only.
