Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer to triage security findings, determine real issues, and remediate directly in Java services and React front ends.

You will work within an authentication security context, applying secure coding standards and partnering with the security team to prioritize and track resolutions while maintaining Eastern-hours availability.

Qualifications

Application Security Engineer (Java) at BairesDev

In this role, you'll triage flagged security findings, determining which are real, then remediate them directly in Java services and React front ends. Working within a login and authentication security context, your security judgement and coding skills work together to close real vulnerabilities, not just flag them. This is your opportunity to apply application security expertise where it counts most, protecting critical financial platforms through hands-on remediation rather than reporting alone.

What You'll Do

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong application security focus.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Demonstrated application security experience, including secure coding and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with React.
• Availability to work Eastern hours.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
