Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Android Platform Engineering or Embedded Systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and C++ for low-level Android development.
• Experience with AOSP development, including HAL and system services.
• Experience building and customizing Android ROMs.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop Android framework components and system services to enhance OS functionality.
• Implement and customize HALs to enable software-hardware communication.
• Work with AOSP to build and modify custom ROMs and system-level apps.
• Develop and optimize low-level drivers and kernel-adjacent components for embedded systems.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues including memory leaks, boot times, and hardware compatibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate device-specific features while maintaining stability and security.

As an Android Platform Engineer, you will work on low-level Android development, focusing on AOSP, system services, and Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL). You will act as the technical link between physical hardware and the Android OS framework, ensuring seamless integration and device-specific customization for high-performance systems.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop Android framework components and system services to enhance OS functionality.
• Implement and customize Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) to enable communication between software and hardware.
• Work with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) to build and modify custom ROMs and system-level applications.
• Develop and optimize low-level drivers and kernel-adjacent components for specialized embedded systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues involving memory leaks, boot times, and hardware compatibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate device-specific features while maintaining system stability and security.

What We Are Looking For
