Epiroc is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our Global Data Analytics team in Chile. You'll shape data platforms (warehouse/lakehouse) using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, and deliver scalable analytics solutions that empower business decisions.

You will partner with stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust data models and KPI-driven insights. You will design dashboards in Power BI, implement data pipelines with SQL and Python, and uphold high data quality

• Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries and data optimization.
• Hands-on Python and Databricks for data engineering and pipelines.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI for dashboards and analytics.
• Solid data modeling techniques translating business requirements into datasets.
• Experience defining, tracking, and analyzing KPIs to inform decisions.
• Ability to work in agile, cross-functional settings with stakeholders.

You will work at the intersection of business and technology, partnering closely with stakeholders, platform teams, and AI initiatives. The environment is collaborative, engineering‑focused, and outcome‑driven, with strong standards, modern tooling, and clear ownership. Working closely with business stakeholders, users, and development teams in an iterative and communicative fashion, you will identify business requirements and transform them into user‑centric, scalable analytics solutions.

You act as an ambassador for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics practices and standards across the organization, ensuring consistency, quality, and long‑term sustainability. Using technical expertise, creativity, and experience, you design and deliver innovative analytics solutions that enable smarter decision‑making and drive strategic business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into scalable data models, technical specifications, and delivery plans
• Design and maintain modern data platforms (warehouse / lakehouse) using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
• Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports, including advanced calculations and visualizations
• Enable data‑driven decisions by defining KPIs and delivering actionable insights
• Build and optimize data pipelines using SQL and Python for efficient data transformation
• Drive data quality, documentation, and continuous improvement of analytics platforms and processes

Knowledge/Education:

• Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries, performance tuning, and data optimization
• Proven experience with Python and Databricks for data engineering, transformation, and pipeline development
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI for building scalable analytics solutions and dashboards
• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques to translate business requirements into structured datasets
• Experience defining, tracking, and analyzing KPIs to support data‑driven decision‑making
• Ability to work effectively in agile, cross‑functional environments, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong business mindset, translating stakeholder needs into clear analytical solutions and data models
• Proactive and ownership‑driven, independently identifying data issues, gaps, and improvement opportunities
• Highly collaborative, working effectively with business users, analysts, and engineering teams
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on data quality, accuracy and reliability
• Strong problem‑solving approach, combining SQL, Python, Databricks, and Fabric to deliver scalable solutions
• Communicative and transparent, able to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
• Continuous learner, staying current with modern data platform capabilities and analytics engineering best practices
