Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company in Therwil (Basel area) seeks a Sales & Trade Marketing Assistant for up to 24 months to accompany Master’s studies. You will support Key Account Management and Trade/Retail Marketing across brands and customers, gaining hands-on experience in promotions and listings.

The role offers a 50% Pensum (20.5 hours/week) with flexibility to split on-site days and remote home office, enabling strong team interaction while balancing exams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Master’s student in Business Administration, Economics, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Strong MS Office / Google Suite skills; able to work analytically and in a team.
• Hands-on, proactive, well organized, reliable and communicative.
• Affinity to AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Key Account Managers in day-to-day operations and promotions for retail accounts in Switzerland.
• Assist in promotional planning, copacking tracking, evaluating and tracking promotions and activations.
• Create product sell-sheets, master data files, and presentation materials for listings.
• Conduct store checks, monitor competitor activity, and gather shopper insights.
• Draft account presentations and performance reviews.
• Support shopper marketing campaigns, POS activations and localization of campaigns across partners.
• Manage the digital shelf on owned pages and retailer e-commerce platforms.
• Coordinate local retail media campaigns from briefing to delivery.
