Intamin in Switzerland is seeking a Project Engineer for Water Rides to drive delivery of complex park attractions. You will manage all project phases from engineering through installation and commissioning, coordinating with production, procurement, and customers.

The role requires a MSc/BSc in engineering, 5+ years of project management experience, strong communication, and fluency in German and English. Willingness to travel and adapt to a multicultural environment is essential.

Qualifications

• A BSc or MSc degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a related field.
• Proven track record in successful project management.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• Flexibility regarding working hours, deadlines, and travel requirements.
• German and English language skills at a professional international level.
• CH/EWR/EU nationality or a valid residency permit within the EU or Switzerland/ EWR/ EU nationality or residency permit within EU/CH.

Responsibilities

• Managing deadlines across engineering, production, procurement, and installation.
• Coordinating project-specific procurement activities within engineering and production.
• Monitoring and supervising technical progress, including installation and commissioning.
• Controlling procurement and costs for materials and services.
• Developing and implementing quality plans tailored to each project.
• Ensuring compliance with internal and supplier quality standards.
• Facilitating effective communication and information flow within the project team and with customers.
• Preparing essential project documentation such as risk analyses, calculations, design verifications, and manuals.
