Job summary

Welo Global is seeking native-level voice actors for Project Hydrus in Zürich, recording both scripted and spontaneous material for AI voice datasets. Sessions are guided remotely by a Session Director, requiring a quiet, acoustically treated space and a professional microphone.

You will deliver recordings in the specified language and dialect for each session. Two supervised sessions of about 4 hours each are conducted, with guidance on sample delivery and space setup.

Qualifications

• Experience as a voice actor, actor, or theatre performer.
• Native or native-equivalent fluency in required language (with dialect).
• Access to a quiet recording space free of echo/background noise.
• Owns a dedicated professional mic (e.g. RODE NT-USB Mini, Blue Yeti).
• Owns closed-back monitoring headphones for sessions.
• Comfort with self-direction and taking live direction.

Responsibilities

• Record scripted material in a natural, conversational tone.
• Record unscripted, spontaneous speech on given topics.
• Set up and manage own recording space and equipment.
• Deliver recordings in required language and dialect without code-switching.
