MeikoVet Dietikon is seeking a Veterinary Practice Assistant to join our new MeikoVet small animal clinic in Dietikon, working 40-100% with a team of three veterinarians. You will handle consultation assistance, reception and phone care, and various admin tasks in a modern, supportive atmosphere.

Responsibilities include anesthesia monitoring, ultrasound/lab assistance, and emergency/inpatient care, with opportunities for professional development and further training.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training as a Veterinary Practice Assistant (VPA).
• Open to applicants with little experience who want to develop.
• Support for further training and education available.

Veterinary Practice Assistant 40-100%

Your workplace will be our new MeikoVet small animal practice in Dietikon, currently with three veterinarians and a dedicated TPA and trainee team. The practice benefits from a well-established and loyal client base, which will now be welcomed in the newly built practice premises. With our modern equipment and a wealth of experience, our team practices advanced veterinary medicine. Our aim is to offer our customers a wide range of services, but in a personal and loving environment.

In these areas you will be able to take on responsibility:

• Consultation Assistance
• Competent customer care at reception and on the phone
• Various administrative tasks for smooth operations
• Anesthesia monitoring and post-operative patient care
• Assistance with ultrasound examinations and laboratory work
• Independently perform or assist in the stabilization and treatment of emergency patients, as well as subsequent care of inpatients
• Teamwork

You have a completed vocational training as a VPA and have charm and heart in your luggage. Additional skills (apprentice supervisor, VAT or dental treatment) are a plus, but we also welcome colleagues with little experience who want to develop. We are also willing to support our employees in their further training.
