Job summary

PAVE Space SA is seeking an Engine Fluidics Engineer to own the design and optimisation of the propellant feed system, delivering reliable fluid delivery from tanks to the combustion chamber. This fully on-site role requires hands-on design, testing, and collaboration with propulsion, GNC, mission design, and spacecraft systems experts in a fast-moving startup.

You will work on core rocket technology in Switzerland, with opportunities to influence engine performance, safety, and integration

Job description

As we continue developing our 45 kN rocket engine, we are looking for an Engine Fluidics Engineer to take ownership of the design and optimisation of the propellant feed system. You will play a central role in ensuring the reliable delivery of fluids throughout the propulsion system, from tanks to the combustion chamber.

This is a chance to work on core rocket technology in a fast-moving startup and directly influence the performance of our engine.

What we are looking for

Professional experience (2 years+) with propellant feed systems, valves, regulators, bellows, preferably for aeronautical, space, or automotive application.

Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.

Proficiency in CAD and system modelling/simulation (Python, MATLAB, Modelica, or equivalent).

Practical experience with test benches and instrumentation (a plus).

Clear and effective English communication skills.
