Job summary

Cyber Security training courses is seeking a seasoned UNIX/Linux Engineer to join our team in Lugano. You will design deployment solutions and oversee performance and maintenance of large-scale UNIX and Linux environments, ensuring robust reliability and security.

You will install, configure and administer IBM WebSphere, Open Liberty and Kubernetes-based apps, while scripting in Bash and Python. Collaboration across teams and continuous improvement are core aspects of the role, with relocation

Qualifications

• EU/UK passport required.
• Fluent Italian and English (C1+).
• 3+ years of UNIX/Linux engineering experience.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• TCP/IP networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions for deployment, performance management and maintenance of UNIX systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues via brainstorming, presentations etc. to conclude on final designs.
• Install, configure and administer IBM WebSphere, Open Liberty, other related products and Kubernetes-based apps.
• Support the lifecycle of enterprise apps.
• Script in Bash & Python.
