Abalone Switzerland, an expert in staffing and recruitment, is seeking a Pipefitter - Welder (M/F) for a local client in Romandy. The role focuses on reading isometric plans, prefabrication and assembly of piping, and on-site installation with welding on steel and stainless steel.

You will inspect welds, ensure compliance with safety standards, and contribute to project quality. The position is initially temporary, with opportunities to demonstrate initiative and entrepreneurial spirit.

Qualifikationen

• Experience reading isometric plans and interpreting piping layouts.
• Proven background in industrial piping and fabrication.
• Skilled in welding stainless steel and carbon steel (TIG/MIG preferred).
• Familiarity with radio welding and welding inspection.

Aufgaben

• Read and interpret isometric plans.
• Prefabricate and assemble piping systems.
• Perform on-site installation work.
• Weld on steel and stainless steel components.
• Inspect welds and perform adjustments.

Your tasks

• Reading isometric plans
• Prefabrication and assembly of piping
• On-site installation work
• Welding on steel and stainless steel
• Inspection of welds and adjustments
• Strict compliance with safety instructions

Profile sought

• Proven experience in industrial piping
• Mastery of stainless steel and steel welding (ideally TIG/MIG)
• Mastery of Radio welding
• Knowledge of CAD

For this position, we are looking for a collaborator with an entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable with taking initiatives.
