Job summary

Avaloq is seeking a motivated Trade Processing & Settlement Trainee for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Switzerland. The role offers hands-on exposure to post-trade operations and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic, international environment.

The trainee will gain experience in processing trades, settlement workflows, and reconciliations, while developing a solid understanding of post-trade lifecycle within a global wealth management context.

Responsibilities

• Processing of stock exchange trades (mainly bonds, equities, eft and funds) in Avaloq Banking Suite
• Settlement of Delivery and Receive versus payment
• Ensuring that all transactions are processed correctly and settled in a timely manner
• Monitoring settlement operations and failed trades
• Follow-up and coordination with clients, trading desks and custodians
• Cash and Securities reconciliation

We are looking for a motivated trainee to join our Trade Processing & Settlement team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in banking operations and financial markets, while developing a solid understanding of the post-trade lifecycle of investment funds and securities. The trainee will work in a dynamic international environment, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders and contributing to the delivery of accurate, timely and high-quality operational services.

Your key tasks
