Zusammenfassung

Kanadevia Inova, a global leader in waste-to-energy technology, seeks a Tender Engineer Electrical & Control to develop conceptual designs, system sizing, and cost estimates for the electrical & control scope in international EPC bids.

You will define automation concepts, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and contribute to tender documentation and negotiations. Fluency in English is required; international project experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in international EPC environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong cost-driver understanding and project execution/tendering experience.
• Experience with Waste-to-Energy technologies is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; additional languages welcome.

Aufgaben

• Develop single-line diagrams, electrical operating concepts and power system concepts for the electrical scope.
• Define plant automation concept and process control system (DCS).
• Optimize system integration and coordinate interfaces across disciplines.
• Review contract specifications, identify project risks and opportunities, support clarifications and negotiations.
• Prepare cost estimates and RFQ analysis for the EIC scope (HV, MV, LV, DCS, instrumentation, genset), and analyze supplier offers.
• Compile tender documentation including technical descriptions, division of work, BOQ and deviations list.
• Handover tenders to the project execution team.
• Develop tendering know-how, tools and templates; incorporate lessons learned.

Within the Global Engineering & Supply Chain Tendering department, you will be responsible for developing conceptual designs, system sizing, and cost estimates for plant electrical & control systems during the proposal phase of international Waste-to-Energy EPC projects.

• Develop single-line diagrams, electrical operating concepts and power system functional descriptions for the complete electrical scope
• Define the plant automation concept and process control system (DCS)
• Optimise system integration to drive cost competitiveness and coordinate interfaces across multiple disciplines including process, layout, steel structures, civil, construction, procurement and logistics
• Review contract specifications, identify project risks and opportunities and contribute to technical clarifications and negotiations with customers and consortium partners
• Prepare cost/budget estimates for the complete EIC scope of supply (HV, MV, LV, DCS, instrumentation, emergency diesel generators), prepare requests for quotation and analyze offers from suppliers
• Compile tender documentation including technical descriptions, division of work, bill of quantities and contractual deviations list
• Ensure smooth handover of successful tenders to the project execution team
• Contribute to the continuous development of tendering know-how, tools and templates, and actively incorporate lessons learned from executed projects

• At least 5 years’ experience in an international EPC environment, preferably within the energy, environmental technology, oil & gas or similar industries
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Solid background in project execution and/or tendering with a good understanding of technical cost drivers
• Experience with Waste-to-Energy (WtE) technologies is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills
• Autonomous and proactive, with a curious, flexible and team-oriented mindset
• Fluent in English, other languages welcomed
