Zusammenfassung

CERN is offering a Technical Student position in Geneva, Switzerland. You will learn from engineers, technicians and scientists while contributing to projects in mechanical design, manufacturing, assembly and testing. The role is onsite with a 40-hour work week and a duration of 4 to 12 months.

You should be enrolled in Mechanical Engineering and be prepared for a practical training period, with strong teamwork and communication in a multicultural environment.

Be sure to meet the eligibility criteria
  • You are a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State. Currently, we cannot consider applications from Pakistani, Lithuanian, Latvian, Cypriot and Croatian nationals, as the ceiling defined under Article II.5 of the Associate Membership Agreement has been reached.
  • You have completed at least 18 months of your studies (3 semesters) in the respective field at the time of the selection. PhD students or holders are not eligible.
  • You have a good knowledge of English or French.
  • You remain enrolled as a full‑time student during your studentship.
