Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a qualified aviation training instructor to design and deliver theoretical and hands-on training for aircraft maintenance staff and pilots on avionic systems in accordance with EASA regulations.

The role covers developing course materials, conducting exams, and updating teaching content. It involves on-site delivery, international travel for training courses, and collaboration with engineers and operations in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Aircraft Avionic B2 engineer.
• ≥3 years as Aircraft Avionic engineer or Technical Instructor.
• Pedagogical and didactic skills with enjoyment of teaching.
• Willingness to travel irregularly for global training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach theory and practical instructions for maintenance staff and pilots.
• Deliver training per EASA Part 147/66 and Part ATO rules.
• Prepare and teach technical training for internal staff.
• Define and update customer-specific course documentation including exams.
• Define, produce, implement and update technical teaching material.
• Support training environment tasks, such as updating hands-on parts, software and hardware.

Job description

This role prepares and delivers theoretical and practical training for aircraft maintenance staff and pilots on avionic systems, based on EASA regulations.

Your tasks

• Prepare and teach theoretical and practical instructions for aircraft maintenance staff and pilots (ground theory)
• Deliver training according to EASA Part 147/66 and EASA Part ATO rules and regulations
• Prepare and teach technical training for internal staff
• Define and update customer-specific course documentation including exams
• Define, produce, implement and update technical teaching material
• Support training environment tasks, such as updating hands-on parts, software and hardware

What you bring

• Licensed Aircraft Avionic (B2) engineer
• At least 3 years of experience as Aircraft Avionic engineer or as Technical Instructor
• Pedagogical and didactic basic skills, and enjoyment of teaching
• PPL or CPL permit an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2) and good business etiquette in an international work environment
• German an advantage
• Readiness for irregular travel globally for training courses
