Qualifikationen

• Diplôme de bachelier ou équivalent avec 5+ ans d'expérience en gestion de produit ou analyse métier.
• Expérience de 2+ ans dans l'industrie pharmaceutique/biotechnologique/technologie de la santé réglementée.
• Au moins 1 an d'expérience en leadership d'équipes pluridisciplinaires.
• Connaissance approfondie des workflows de laboratoire, architectures logicielles ( APIs, Cloud ), data science et IA/ML.
• Connaissance des règles GxP, principes FAIR et confidentialité des données (GDPR).
• Maîtrise des cadres Agile/Scrum/SAFe, avec sens du design centré utilisateur et du changement.
• Excellentes compétences en communication stratégique et gestion des parties prenantes.

Aufgaben

• Définir la stratégie, la vision et la feuille de route des produits de flux de travail en laboratoire.
• Devenir l'ardent défenseur des utilisateurs internes et traduire leurs besoins en solutions numériques.
• Gérer le cycle de vie du produit de l'idéation à la mise à l'échelle tout en respectant GxP et FAIR.
• Coordonner les équipes interfonctionnelles et aligner les roadmaps et les délais.
• attirer, encadrer et autonomiser une équipe d'experts techniques.
• Suivre les KPI, analyser le comportement des utilisateurs et ajuster les produits.
• Élaborer des business cases et optimiser les ressources entre ingénierie et design.
• Assurer la transition sans heurts entre les domaines scientifiques et techniques.

In this strategic role, you will define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to transform scientific and business needs into high-value technology solutions that accelerate the delivery of life-changing diagnostics and medicines to patients.

Description of the area

The Team Lead for Workflow Innovation & Management is a strategic role within the Roche Digital Technology DIA R&D Labs organization that is dedicated to transforming how our research laboratories operate. The R&D labs team has a primary mission to drive workflow innovation, enhance efficiency of product development, and safeguard data integrity for research scientists.

As a content leader, you will provide strategic and technical direction for key areas such as human biosample management and laboratory material management. In addition, you will be responsible for the data transition between the bench scientists and the computational researchers.

In this role, you will lead and develop a team of technical experts to deliver high-value and scalable solutions that meet the needs of the DIA organization.

The Opportunity:

• Define Strategy & Vision: Set the strategic direction, roadmap, and features for lab workflow products, proactively integrating relevant AI capabilities to maximize business value and research efficiency.
• Champion Customer-Centricity: Serve as the primary advocate for internal users (scientists, researchers, technicians), translating lab user personas and needs into tangible, high-impact digital solutions.
• Lead Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through scaling while maintaining compliance with GxP, FAIR data principles, and data privacy regulations.
• Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align multidisciplinary teams across scientific R&D, engineering, and executives around shared roadmaps, clear timelines, and strategic trade-offs.
• Develop High-Performing Teams: Attract, mentor, and empower a talented team of technical experts in a supportive, collaborative environment.
• Optimize Performance & Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze user behavior, and apply data-driven insights to refine products and measure impact.
• Manage Resources & Business Cases: Formulate detailed business cases and optimize resource allocation across engineering and design to achieve strategic goals.
• Bridge Scientific & Technical Domains: Enable seamless data transitions between bench scientists and computational researchers to streamline instrument workflows and data integrity.

Who you are:

• Education & Core Experience: Holds a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience in product management or business analysis launching high-value technology products.
• Healthcare Industry Expertise: 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industry, with a strong understanding of Diagnostics business environments.
• Leadership Track Record: 1+ years of leadership experience managing, scaling, and developing multidisciplinary technical teams in fast-paced environments.
• Technical & Domain Proficiency: Deep understanding of lab user workflows (sample preparation, assay development) alongside familiarity with modern software architecture (APIs, cloud), data science, and AI/ML concepts.
• Regulatory & Data Integrity Knowledge: Solid understanding of GxP guidelines, FAIR data principles, and data privacy regulations (GDPR).
• Methodology & Change Management: Proficient in leading teams within Agile, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks, with a strong passion for user-centric design and change management.
• Strategic Communication & Ambiguity Tolerance: Skilled at converting ambiguous requirements into executable plans while effectively influencing and aligning diverse scientific and business stakeholders.
