Tax and Statutory Specialist

The Tax & Statutory Specialist supports the Tax & Statutory Manager in ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and legal entity accounting obligations across EMEA. The role is responsible for the preparation and filing of VAT returns, assist and coordinate the preparations tax filings, support the establishment of statutory financial statements, coordinate requests from internal and external auditors, and support all other activities with regards to various compliance activities. The role also supports the quarterly Tax reporting activities by preparing Q-Tax Templates and Return to Accruals reconciliations.
Assisting with the preparation and review of Swiss corporate income tax returns. Supporting tax compliance activities across international jurisdictions (Corporate income tax return, UK Tax Strategy, CBC notification, UBO notification. Preparing tax schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Maintaining accurate tax records and ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
Assisting in the preparation and submission of Swiss VAT returns. Supporting VAT compliance in foreign jurisdictions (AU, DE, FR, UK, SW, BE), including OSS requirements (NL and BE). Performing VAT account reconciliations. Assisting in responding to tax authority queries and audits.
Supporting quarterly and annual tax reporting processes. Assisting in the preparation of current and deferred tax calculations. Collecting and analysing financial data for tax reporting purposes. Contribute to tax provision documentation and supporting work papers.
Support Assisting in maintaining up-to-date transfer pricing documentation. Gathering financial and operational data required for transfer pricing analyses. Supporting the review and reconciliation of intercompany transactions from a tax perspective (including royalties, services, and financing).
Maintaining tax calendars and monitor key deadlines. Supporting data extraction from ERP systems (e.g. Oracle). Assisting in documenting and improving tax processes. Supporting tax-related projects and process improvement initiatives. Assisting with the implementation of new tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Working closely with accounting, finance, legal, and HR teams. Coordinating with external tax advisors as required.
