Avacone is seeking a Tableau Developer to design, build, and maintain dashboards that illuminate business performance and guide decision-making. You will collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and data engineers to define metrics, validate data, and publish reliable reporting across Tableau Desktop, Server/Cloud, and self-service solutions.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, implementing KPI logic, optimizing dashboard performance, and documenting data sources and workbook logic

Qualificações

• Professional experience developing, publishing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards used by business teams.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, including calculated fields, LOD expressions, table calculations, parameters, filters, and dashboard actions.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, common table expressions, and window functions.
• Working knowledge of relational data modeling and how data grain and join cardinality affect reporting accuracy.
• Experience with Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud, including publishing workflows, extract refreshes, and content permissions.
• Ability to apply data visualization principles to make complex information easy to interpret and act on.

Responsabilidades

• Gather reporting requirements, agree on KPI definitions with stakeholders, and translate them into dashboards and self-service reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and publish interactive dashboards, workbooks, and reusable data sources in Tableau.
• Use SQL to prepare and validate data, reconcile dashboard results against source systems, and investigate discrepancies.
• Optimize dashboard load times and responsiveness by reviewing workbook design, calculations, queries, and extract usage.
• Maintain published content in Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud, troubleshoot refresh failures, and coordinate access and permissions with platform administrators.
• Document metric definitions, data sources, and workbook logic so others can use and maintain the reporting.
• Gather feedback from dashboard users and refine reports as business needs evolve.
