Pilatus Aircraft Ltd in Switzerland invites applications for a Systems Engineer with a focus on electrical & electronics. You will join a committed international team working on advanced aerospace projects.

You will lead cross-functional engineering efforts from concept to certification, review electrical designs, support ground/flight tests and ensure compliance with DO-254, DO-178C, and CS/FAR 23. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, plus 5+ years of aerospace electromechanical system development and certification
• Ability to read, analyze and challenge electrical schematics and circuit designs
• Hands-on testing, debugging and fault isolation at PCB level, beyond LRU-based troubleshooting

• Lead and mentor cross-functional systems engineering projects from concept to certification, focusing on electrical challenges
• Support investigations into electrical issues and modify electromechanical systems for aircraft applications
• Provide technical leadership to mechanical-focused engineers for electrical integration
• Investigate electrical anomalies and support root-cause analyses at PCB and schematic levels

Your Tasks

• Lead and mentor cross-functional systems engineering projects from concept to certification, with a focus on resolving electrical challenges
• Support and guide investigations into electrical issues, and design or modify electromechanical systems for aircraft applications
• Provide technical leadership to mechanical-focused system engineers in understanding and integrating electrical components and systems
• Investigate electrical anomalies and support root-cause analyses, including schematic-level and PCB-level evaluation
• Review and assess electrical hardware designs, analyses, and test results from internal teams and external suppliers
• Coordinate technical and program aspects with external suppliers
• Define and support ground/flight test requirements
• Ensure compliance with FAR/EASA-CS 23 certification standards

With this you convince us

• University degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, plus 5+ years of experience in aerospace electromechanical system development and certification
• Strong background in electrical and electronic hardware, including actuator or motor control electronics
• Proven ability to read, understand, analyse and challengeelectrical schematics and circuit designs
• Hands-on experience in testing, debugging and fault isolationat PCB level, beyond LRU-based or black-box troubleshooting
• Proven experience with RTCA DO-254 and airborne electronic hardware certification processesSolid knowledge of CS/FAR Part 23, DO-160, DO-178C, ARP4754A and ARP4761
• Excellent communication skills in English (C2 level), German is a plus
• Strong project and supplier management capabilities with an analytical, collaborative and self-driven working style
