Job summary

Waelti Partners AG, a younger, international, growing business law firm with a presence in Zurich, seeks Swiss-based Partners (70-100%). You will advise clients in Swiss business law, draft and negotiate contracts, and lead junior colleagues while expanding the firm's Swiss footprint.

English fluency with good German, leadership capabilities, and an existing client base are highly valued. You will collaborate with global teams on cross-border mandates and stay ahead of regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a continental European university with Swiss bar eligibility.
• Several years of Swiss professional experience in business law.
• Fluency in English and good German; additional European languages a plus.
• Entrepreneurial leadership with ability to shape firm’s future.
• Ability to manage national and international mandates with client responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support companies in Swiss business law across sectors.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
• Represent clients in disputes before courts/arbitration and authorities.
• Train, guide, and manage junior colleagues and trainee lawyers.
• Expand and develop the firm’s Swiss market presence; coordinate with global colleagues.
• Monitor legislative and case-law developments; liaise with authorities and associations.
• Publish articles, lecture, and conduct internal trainings.
