The Hirzenfeld Sports Centre in Switzerland is seeking a motivated swimming pool and ice rink manager to join the team on 1 October 2026 or by mutual agreement. Manage the outdoor pool and artificial ice rink, ensure smooth daily operation, safety, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include maintaining technical installations, water quality, ice preparation, events coordination, and staff support.

Qualifikationen

• Must have completed vocational training with technical and practical skills.
• Experience as a swimming pool and/or ice rink manager is advantageous.
• Willingness to undertake further training as a swimming pool and ice rink manager.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours including weekends and public holidays.
• Friendly, service-oriented manner and good physical fitness.
• Ability to work as part of a team and be reliable.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and monitor technical installations at the outdoor pool and artificial ice rink.
• Ensure smooth operation of the facilities and guest experience.
• Carry out maintenance and repair work as needed.
• Monitor water quality and hygiene compliance.
• Assist with ice preparation and maintenance of the ice rink.
• Support event organisation and guest services.

The Hirzenfeld Sports Centre is idyllically situated between Münchenbuchsee and Zollikofen and offers a wide range of leisure activities, including an outdoor swimming pool, an artificial ice rink and catering facilities. The sports complex has been completely refurbished in recent years and is very popular with people of all ages.To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and dedicated swimming pool and ice rink manager – facilities manager to join us on 1 October 2026 or by mutual agreement.

Tasks

• Maintenance and monitoring of the technical installations at the outdoor swimming pool and the artificial ice rink
• Ensuring the smooth running of the sports and leisure facilities
• Carrying out maintenance and repair work
• Monitoring water quality and ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations
• Assisting with ice preparation and maintenance of the artificial ice rink
• Looking after guests and ensuring they have a pleasant stay
• Assisting with the organisation and running of events

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training with technical and practical skills
• Experience as a swimming pool and/or ice rink manager in the operation and maintenance of technical systems would be an advantage
• Willingness to undertake further training as a swimming pool and ice rink manager
• Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours (including weekends and public holidays)
• A friendly and service-oriented manner
• Good physical fitness
• Ability to work as part of a team and reliability
