A leading research organization in Geneva is seeking a Metrology Engineer to enhance metrology processes for high precision projects. Responsibilities include developing robotic solutions and performing measurements using advanced laser scanning technology. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and offers unique opportunities in cutting-edge research. A monthly stipend of 5266-5793 Swiss Francs is provided, along with comprehensive health coverage and paid leave.
Join the Geodetic Metrology group at CERN, where you will take part in the metrology and alignment of a wide variety of components that are used in particle physics experiments! You will use state-of-the-art surveying tools and software to achieve the sub-millimetre accuracy necessary to meet our goals. You will participate in the definition of the geodetic metrology strategy, including the development of new solutions for remote and automated measurements. You will primarily contribute to the HL-LHC project, as well as to various alignment activities across the injector complexes and the LHC.
