Job summary

Bachem Holding AG in Bubendorf seeks a skilled Supply Chain Manager for Tech Transfers to lead end-to-end transfers across multiple sites. You will define transfer strategies, balance demand and capacity, and ensure continuity while mitigating risks.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory teams, and expertise in GMP environments. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Life Sciences.
• 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management or Tech Transfers in regulated environments.
• Fluent in English; German and French are advantageous.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or CDMO GMP manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience leading transfers across multiple manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain workstream for product and manufacturing transfers across internal manufacturing sites.
• Define and execute transfer supply strategy aligning demand, supply, capacity, inventory and transitions.
• Develop supply scenarios and transition strategies to ensure supply continuity.
• Own Supply Chain risk management and readiness for transfer execution and go-live.
• Represent Supply Chain in cross-functional governance with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality and Regulatory.

To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our team in Supply Chain, we are looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Manager Tech Transfers (a), 80-100%.

• Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain workstream for product and manufacturing transfers across internal manufacturing sites, from project initiation through commercial implementation
• Define and execute the transfer supply strategy, integrating demand, supply, capacity, inventory and material transition planning across sending and receiving sites
• Develop supply scenarios and transition strategies to ensure supply continuity, including inventory build-up, bridging stock and material transfer concepts
• Own Supply Chain risk management and readiness, proactively identifying and mitigating supply risks and ensuring ERP, master data and planning readiness for transfer execution and go-live
• Represent Supply Chain in cross-functional project governance, driving alignment and decisions with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Service and Commercial functions, and providing clear updates to management and steering committees

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Life Sciences
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management or Tech Transfers, ideally in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in end-to-end supply planning, capacity planning, inventory strategy, risk management, and supply continuity
• Fluent in English; German and French are highly advantageous
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Significant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CDMO manufacturing in GMP-regulated environment is a plus
• Experience leading large-scale technology or product transfers across multiple manufacturing sites is a plus
• SAP ERP, SAP IBP or comparable supply-chain planning systems is a plus
• PMP, APICS or equivalent project management or supply-chain certification is a plus
