BlackTide Partners seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer in the Zurich area to oversee preventive and reactive quality management across the supplier base. You will drive APQP/PPAP activities, support DFMEA/PFMEA, and coordinate PPAP submissions for new and changed components.

The role demands hands-on problem solving, strong supplier collaboration, and experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards. German proficiency is preferred for collaboration with local suppliers.

Qualifikationen

• 3-4 years of experience in a Supplier Quality Engineering role.
• In-depth knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes.
• Proficiency with Control Plans.
• Experience with SPC.
• Experience with DFMEA / PFMEA.
• Proficiency with 8D reports and 5-Why analysis.
• Understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) is a strong asset.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to drive results with suppliers.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and support supplier APQP processes for new product developments and engineering changes.
• Document and follow up on D-FMEA and P-FMEA activities.
• Evaluate and validate supplier testing equipment (e.g., MSA).
• Plan and execute supplier site process and production releases for components and sub-assemblies.
• Perform PPAP submissions for zero-series and engineering changes.
• Review Safe Launch Concepts and ensure suppliers meet serial production standards.
• Guide suppliers in achieving and sustaining serial production readiness.
