Jobbeschreibung

The Procurement team in Pfäffikon is seeking a student support to contribute to a diverse range of responsibilities. As part of the team, you will gain valuable hands‑on experience in supporting core procurement operations within a dynamic, international environment. You will collaborate with colleagues from different departments and locations, developing your professional network and deepening your understanding of modern procurement practices.

This student role is structured to provide flexibility throughout your studies, allowing for work commitments of approximately 2-3 days per week during academic semesters, with the opportunity to increase up to full‑time hours during semester breaks.

This is a great opportunity for students who are able to commit to this role for a minimum of 18 months, ideally for several years during their studies and shall start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Handling of orders and billing process for our Global Workplace (e.g. Laptop, various accessories)
  • Support verification and approval process for invoices from various suppliers
  • Review, update master data in global travel booking portal, and applications Expense Management, CRM and Contract Management
  • Support reporting provided by procurement to various business stakeholders
  • Prepare, execute yearly / half‑yearly surveys sent to suppliers and to internal stakeholders
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for procurement application(s) in development
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing studies at a university of (applied sciences) ideally in Economic, IT or Supply Management or Procurement
  • An interest in procurement and the functioning of global processes and systems
  • Proficiency in German (written and spoken) and a solid working knowledge of English allow for effective communication with stakeholders at different levels within the organization
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and collaborative skills, adaptability, and a proactive, solution‑focused approach to support cross‑functional teamwork and achieve team objectives
