Zusammenfassung

Glion Institute of Higher Education in Glion, Switzerland, part of the Sommet Education Group, is seeking a Student Development Coordinator for a permanent contract. You will plan and deliver summer programs, coordinate with faculty and industry partners, and lead student teams across campuses in Glion and Bulle, with travel to multiple venues.

The role requires fluency in English and French, a relevant degree, and proven experience in student development or events, with flexibility for evenings

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in education, student development, counselling, or a related field.
• First aid qualification.
• Valid driving license.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience in student development, events or similar roles.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a student team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and workload prioritization.
• Proactive approach to addressing student challenges.
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends when required.
• Willingness to travel across campuses or external venues.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver Glion Summer Programs with high-quality educational and engagement activities.
• Coordinate with faculty, industry partners and internal stakeholders for student-focused programs and events.
• Manage student volunteers and support teams in summer programs and campus activities.
• Coordinate student orientation and induction programs for onboarding new students.
• Organize welcome events and community-building activities for incoming students.
• Support student wellbeing, sports and wellness initiatives with internal and external partners.
• Monitor and assess student engagement activities and ensure standards compliance.
• Support student governance initiatives and contribute to student experience projects.
• Supervise and develop interns with coaching and professional development opportunities.
