Jobtailor in Lausanne seeks an experienced Civil/Structural engineer to lead structural projects from concept to construction, including new builds, conversions and renovations. You will develop innovative, cost-effective structural solutions with architects and clients, and verify calculations to comply with SIA and Eurocodes.

You’ll coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage client expectations. The role emphasizes BIM-based design, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement

Qualifikationen

• Civil engineering degree from a recognised university or polytechnic.
• Proven experience in structural engineering for buildings and/or industrial structures.
• Knowledge of SIA standards and Eurocodes; understanding of construction principles.

Aufgaben

• Lead structural projects from conceptual studies through to construction.
• Develop innovative, robust, and cost-effective structural solutions with architects and clients.
• Perform and verify structural calculations ensuring compliance with standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, managing quality, cost, schedule and client expectations.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, architects, contractors and authorities.
• Contribute to proposals, technical documentation and client presentations.
• Support knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement within BIM approaches.
