Job summary

SPIE Suisse SA is seeking a Business/Project Controller to act as the financial partner to operational teams, ensuring P&L control, forecast reliability and risk management. You will analyze performance, monitor margins, and support managers in financial decision-making across projects and services.

The role requires strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, EBIT, and project profitability, plus SAP FI/CO proficiency and advanced Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Higher education in finance, management control, accounting, business economics or equivalent field.
• Proven experience in business controlling, project controlling or financial control in a project or service environment.
• Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and practical experience in financial project monitoring.
• Extensive experience in budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, EBIT, project profitability, risk & opportunity management.
• Very good knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Power Query, financial automation and continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis, communication and presentation skills.
• Autonomy, rigour, sense of priorities and ability to work with financial and operational stakeholders.
• Native French speaker with very good knowledge of English. German is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage the P&L, from Operational Income to EBIT, and guarantee the reliability of financial analyses.
• Analyse performance: activity, margin, EBIT and productivity.
• Evaluate new projects according to financial and profitability objectives.
• Monitor margins and variances, then coordinate corrective actions.
• Conduct project and contract reviews and challenge assumptions.
• Identify measures to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide management with analyses on risks and opportunities.
• Support Project and Service Managers in financial management.
• Produce EBIT forecasts and contribute to budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare and communicate monthly results.
• Monitor profitability, costs, turnover, margin and cash flow of projects.
• Update forecasts according to project developments.
• Analyse variances between Business Case, budget, forecasts and actuals.
• Ensure the quality of financial data and support decision-making.
